Back to search results

This is a simple change but worth knowing about. The button that takes you back to your search results is located in a different place in Sierra than Millennium.

In Millennium, when you are viewing a record and want to return to your search results you can use the ‘Browse’ button which is located in the middle of the set of function buttons at the top right of the Millennium screen:

In Sierra, the ‘back to browse’ button is located at the top left hand side of the screen. This makes a lot of sense as it’s where you would expect to see a ‘back’ button in a browser.

When I’ve demonstrated this change I discovered that some people hadn’t realised there *was* a back button and have always re-run their search, so hopefully the better placement of this button will make it more visible!
